Hello all, this is George from Varilight, I have been liaising with our engineers regarding this issue.

We are aware that, under certain conditions, Varilight WiFi dimmers can experience network disruptions. These disruptions can occasionally be triggered by a nearby electrical surge, such as one caused by a fan. In response to this, we have implemented several updates to our PCB in recent months, including the addition of an external watchdog for the ESP to enhance performance and reliability.
For those who have created a support ticket with us, replacement units should already have been offered. If you have not yet received a replacement and are experiencing this issue, we are happy to provide a replacement unit for testing.
Please get in touch with Varilight Customer Services by creating or updating a support ticket at www.varilight.co.uk/help. Kindly note that proof of purchase will be required for any replacements.

If there is anything further we can do to assist, please let us know through the support ticket system. Additionally, feel free to tag me in any forum posts regarding Varilight products so we can offer our full technical support.

Many thanks,

George

Hi George,
I'll reopen the existing ticket.

Hopefully the new new versions will improve things.

Many thanks George for the update. :D

I've opened a ticket to try out the replacement PCBs.
