Hi,
I have a very large job in which most switching will be V pro smart dimmers.
couple of questions: -
As it will be an extremely large set up task, would everything have to be redone should the client ever change his ISP and or router?
Would it be an advantage to buy a seperate router so this could remain should he ever change ISP down the line?
Are there any makes of non-dimming smart switches that work woth the supla app? maybe relays even, I know there is a blind controller that we will attempt to use.
Thanks in advance
Big Job!

It is recommended to separate a dedicated network or a dedicated router for IoT devices. Otherwise
Changing the router involves reconfiguring the devices or setting the same Wi-Fi network name and password as before in the new router. Regarding buttons, I don't know what exactly you mean.

Thanks. So just rename network and password the same as before. That’ll be easy!pzygmunt wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 9:28 pm It is recommended to separate a dedicated network or a dedicated router for IoT devices. Otherwise

I mean a smart switch. Non dimming wall mounted light switch.

You can use any button with a module, e.g. mROW or ROW.

You can upload Supla to such buttons yourself.
