Try disconnecting your account and reconnecting. Generally, we don't know what causes it. From our side, we send a confirmation to Alexa and everything is OK in the tests.

Hi - this is happening to me again, for the last few days.

Do you have any idea what could be causing it this time?

Thank you.

Unfortunately, Alexa has a life of its own. From our side, all possible tests show good communication. It just stops working and fixes itself. The problem does not only occur with Supla.

Try removing the device from Alexa. Then change anything on cloud.supla.org, e.g. "name" and save. After a few minutes, your device should reappear in Alexa. Let me know if it helped.

I did what you said, and it has fixed the problem.

I also had to disable the Supla skill in Alexa and re-enable it in order to find the dimmer again, which was a bit of a pain, but it worked in the end.

Thank you.

It has happened again, and I'm getting a bit tired of it now.

Nothing else does this. I have Philips Hue, IKEA, TP_Link, Hive, Energenie. None of them have ever needed removing and re-adding to Alexa.

Can you try to fix this please?

We have been looking at the matter for a long time and without Amazon's involvement it is very difficult to solve such problems because we do not know what is happening on the other side. Please provide your cloud account email address in a private message. We will try to collect logs and send them to Amazon for analysis.

Could this just be latency in the response to Alexa?
