I've set up an MQTT broker on Supla Cloud, but I cannot connect to it via Home Assistant.
I'm trying to do it by following option 1 on https://drive.google.com/file/d/10HTT6j ... jwdMPKQwb3
No matter what credentials/options I try in Home Assistant, I always get "Failed to Connect" with no extra information.
I'm assuming Home Assistant wants the following:
mqtt74.supla.org
8883
[MQTT Broker Username]
[MQTT Broker Password]
Not using any advanced options.
I'm not sure what to try next.
Is there a way to verify the broker with some other test app/cli, to at least know if the problem is on the HA side or the Supla side?
Thanks,
Richard
Connect to MQTT Broker via Home Assistant
Try to connect with MQTT explorer first.

Thanks, using MQTT Explorer worked.
Then I tried to add the device again and tried setting the advanced option about validating the certificate to "Auto" and it worked!
All sorted - thanks!
